Candle care

  1. Carefully remove all packaging and the seed paper sheet off top of the wax (see below on how to store the seed paper).

  2. Trim wick to ¼'' before lighting.

  3. Burn candle within sight at all times.

  4. Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire.

  5. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

  6. Place on temperature safe surface to avoid heat damage.

Storing the seed paper

For best germination results, seed paper should be planted within 2 years. It will still grow beyond that, but the germination rates will decline after that period. Store in a cool, dry place, to preserve the germination rates as long as possible.

After the candle burned down

  1. Handle container with care.

  2. Once the candle wax is fully hardened and only 1/2" remains, place container in a bowl and carefully pour hot water on top of the wax.

  3. Allow wax to melt, rise and harden into a solid floating disk; remove and use in wax warmers. (Note: if wick stickers lift during this process, discard hot water and carefully remove wax using spoon.)

  4. Carefully remove wicks and wick stickers and clean container with warm soapy water

  5. Dry with soft cloth and place black round filter over drainage hole.

  6. Fill with soil, place plantable seed paper, and top with more soil.

  7. Water sparingly and allow plenty of sun.

  8. Watch it grow!
